Graduate/Junior/Entry-level Internal Communications Executive
Graduate Internal Communications Executive is highly sought by a multiple award winning games studio based in Birmingham who are the UK’s largest privately owned mobile e-gaming company! We currently have just over 300+ employees here at our Birmingham HQ with our services offered across multiple platforms (web, mobile, tablet) with over 5mn+ registered customers here in the UK alone!
In this position, you will take on a highly collaborative role interacting with all departments across the business, and will be integral in thinking of fresh, fun and innovative ways to deliver communications to staff, which will ultimately drive and champion employee engagement!
You will be actively involved in the planning and delivery of internal communications (including being hands-on in writing, editing and proof-reading content) and company training, as well as providing administrative support to the business, ensuring the timely and smooth delivery of company-wide updates, newsletters, announcements, reminders and engagements in line with the Internal Communications plan and diary.
You will be a key player in delivering and coordinating company training (including company inductions, staff and management training, e-learning etc.), where you will be responsible for scheduling dates, ensuring appropriate meeting rooms/locations are booked, organising training materials and maintaining delegate lists.
As part of this, you will also undertake and collect post-training evaluation, ensuring all records are kept accurate and up-to-date. Utilising your excellent organisational skills, you will additionally assist with coordinating company events (such as exhibitions, recruitment fairs and social events), and be a point of contact for arranging any business travel and accommodation.
This is a fast-paced and varied role which will require strong organisation skills, confidence, adaptability and enthusiasm, as well as the ability to learn quickly in an exciting and dynamic environment!
What we’re looking for:
• Degree educated in a relevant field (i.e. Media and Communications, Business Studies, Psychology etc.)
• An excellent verbal and written communicator
• Relevant experience in delivering communications and training etc.
• Ability to organise a variety of internal events
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
• Great multi-tasking skills
• Ability to use initiative and think outside of the box
Bonus points for:
• Previous experience of working within a communications/events team previously
• Ability to design promotional/informational materials (e.g. using Adobe Photoshop)
