Donation of £500,000 made to the Russells Hall Hospital

The spread of Covid-19 has brought many difficulties across the globe and many essential workers found themselves on the front line, putting their lives at risk. It is with them in mind that Intouch Games and CEO, Simon Wilson, have decided to donate $500,000 to the Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust which runs the Russells Hall Hospital.

The whole Intouch Games’ staff thought it was important to look at what we could do to help our many frontline workers and we feel wholehearted that right now this money will be going towards helping the healthcare workers as well as those affected by the virus.

Along with providing a donation of £500,000 to Russells Hall Hospital, Intouch Games is also offering any technical support it can to the hospital.

Simon Wilson was born and raised in Cradley Heath and, as he stated “This current crisis is unprecedented, but it’s during these times that we really need to step in and support our National Health Service. […] The staff of Russells Hall Hospital have been there for my family for generations. […] It’s our chance to be there for them, in any way we can, during this difficult time.”

In response to this donation, Dame Yve Buckland, Chair of The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust said: “We are delighted that Simon has made the decision to support The Dudley Group in this way. […] It is such a generous donation, and we will ensure it is put to good use.”

It comes with great gratitude that we as a business are able to give back. It is during these times that we can step up and make a difference for our communities.

We have, and always will be, stronger together.

Stay safe. Stay home. Support the NHS.
